FBK published an investigation of Navalny, which he worked on before the poisoning

The investigation deals with the illegal businesses of Novosibirsk officials, city administration employees and deputies of the United Russia City Duma, who are behind large construction companies and housing and community service organizations. Researchers talk about their expensive cars, accessories and real estate abroad.

According to FBK, this is the first in a series of investigative films that Navalny worked on during his trip to Siberia.

Before the poisoning, the politician was in Novosibirsk and Tomsk, where elections will be held on September 13. Candidates supported by Navalny’s team will participate in elections there.

Alexei Navalny was hospitalized in Omsk on the morning of August 20, unconscious. He fell ill during the flight from Tomsk to Moscow. The plane made an emergency landing at Omsk airport.

Navalny was transferred from the plane to the intensive care unit and hooked up to a ventilator. He is in a coma. Doctors in Omsk considered Navalny’s condition serious and refused to give permission for the evacuation to a hospital in Germany.

The politician’s associates believe he was poisoned. At the same time, Russian doctors found no traces of the poison on the body.

After Navalny was evacuated to Berlin, German doctors confirmed that he was poisoned with a substance from the group of cholinesterase inhibitors. The specific substance has not yet been established.
