Extension of the red quarantine zone in Ukraine

New quarantine zoning in Ukraine

The new quarantine zones will begin operating on September 7 and for the next two weeks.

In Ukraine, the quarantine zones have been updated according to the epidemiological situation in the regions. The new zoning will go into effect on September 7. This was announced by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov on Facebook.

At the same time, due to the worsening of the situation with the coronavirus, the red zone has expanded.

So the red zone will include:

  • – the cities of the Ivano-Frankivsk, Kolomyia, Kalush, Kosovsky and Tysmenytsky districts of the Ivano-Frankivsk region;

  • – the towns of the Ternopil, Berezhany and Chertkov, Berezhansky, Buchatsky, Gusyatinsky, Monastyrsky, Terebovlyansky, Ternopil and Chertkovsky districts of the Ternopil region;

  • – the Chernivtsi, Vyzhnitsky, Glyboksky, Zastavnovsky, Kitsmansky, Novoselytsky and Storozhinetsky city districts of the Chernivtsi region.

  • – the cities of Belyaevka, Izmail and the Bolgradsky district of the Odessa region;

  • – the city of Dubno and the Kostopolsky district of the Rivne region;

  • – Velikoburluksky district of the Kharkiv region;

  • – Bobrovitsky district of the Chernihiv region.

Public transport is prohibited in the red zone, educational institutions, including preschool and schools, are closed. Passengers are only allowed to disembark from transport that runs in transit and interregional transport.

The orange zone will include:

  • – the cities of the Kharkov, Lyubotin, Pervomaisky and Kharkovsky districts of the Kharkov region;

  • – the cities of the Lvov, Drohobych and Sambir, Gorodoksky, Zholkovsky, Nikolaevsky, Samborsky and Pustomytovsky districts of the Lviv region;

  • – the city of Lutsk and the Lutsk district of the Volyn region;

  • – the cities of the Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Chop, Vinogradovskiy, Mizhgirskiy, Mukachevskiy, Tyachevskiy and Uzhgorodskiy districts of the Transcarpathian region;

  • – Sumy city, Sumy region;

  • – Vinnytsia district of the Vinnytsia region;

  • – the cities of the Berdichev and Korosten, Berdichevsky, Zhitomirsky, Korostensky, Luginsky and Popelnyansky districts of the Zhytomyr region;

  • – the cities of Bolekhiv, Burshtyn and Yaremche, Bogorodchansky, Verkhovinsky, Galitsky, Gorodenkovsky, Dolinsky, Kalushsky, Kolomyisky, Nadvirnyansky, Rohatynsky, Rozhnyatovsky, Snyatinsky and Tlumachsky of the Ivano-Frankivsky region;

  • – the cities of the Berezan, Irpen and Fastov, Kiev-Svyatoshinsky and Yagotynsky districts of the Kiev region;

  • – Chernomorsk, Belyaevsky, Izmail, Ovidiopolsky and Tarutinsky city districts of the Odessa region;

  • – the city districts of Ostrog, Goshchansky, Demidovsky, Dubensky, Zarechnensky, Zdolbunovsky and Koretsky of the Rivne region;

  • – the Kremenets, Borshchevsky, Zaleschitsky, Zbarazhsky, Zborovsky, Kozovsky, Kremenetsky, Lanovetsky, Podvolochisky, Podgaetsky and Shumsky city districts of the Ternopil region;

  • – the city of Slavuta, Volochisk, Novoushitsky, Teofipolsky, Yarmolinsky districts of the Khmelnytsky region;

  • – the city districts of Novodnestrovsk, Hertsaevsky, Kelmenetsky, Putilsky, Sokiryansky and Khotinsky of the Chernivtsi region;

  • – the city of the Nezhin, Nezhinsky and Nosovsky districts of the Chernigov region.

In the orange zone the activity of accommodation establishments (hostels, tourist centers, etc.), except hotels, is prohibited; activities of entertainment establishments, night restaurants; planned hospital admissions; gym work, fitness centers, cultural institutions; acceptance of new changes in children’s camps. Massive events in the amount of 1 person per 20 square meters are allowed and no more than 100 people can participate.

The yellow zone includes:

  • – the city of Kiev;

  • – the cities of Boryspil, Brovary, Bucha, Vasilkov, Obukhov and Pereyaslav, Baryshevsky, Belotserkovsky, Borispolsky, Brovarsky, Vasilkovsky, Zgurovsky, Ivankovsky, Kagarlytsky, Makarovsky, Pereyaslav-Khmelyions and the Tarashnitschansky regions;

  • – the cities of the Odessa, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Teplodar and Yuzhny, Artsyzsky, Berezovsky, Ivanovsky, Kodymsky, Limansky, Savransky and Saratsky districts of the Odessa region;

  • – the cities of the Nikolaev and Voznesensk, Bashtansky, Krivoozersky and Ochakovsky districts of the Nikolaev region;

  • – the cities of the Vinnitsa, Zhmerynka, Kazatin, Mogilev-Podolsky and Khmelnik, Zhmerinsky, Kalinovsky, Mogilev-Podolsky, Nemirovsky, Peschansky, Tyvrovsky and Khmelniksky districts of the Vinnitsa region;

  • – the cities of Rivne and Varash, Vladimirsky, Mlynovsky, Ostrozhsky, Radivilovsky and Rokitnovsky districts of the Rivne region;

  • – the cities of the Zhitomir and Malin, Andrushevsky, Brusilovsky, Emilchinsky, Ovruchsky, Pulinsky, Romanovsky and Horoshevsky districts of the Zhytomyr region;

  • – the cities of the Khmelnitsky, Kamenets-Podolsky, Netishin and Shepetovka, Belogorsky, Vinkovetsky, Gorodoksky, Dunaevetsky, Kamenets-Podolsky, Slavutsky, Starosinyavsky and Khmelnitsky districts of the Khmelnitsky region;

  • – the cities of the Chernigov and Priluki, Borznyansky, Varvinsky, Gorodnyansky, Ichnyansky, Kozeletsky, Kulikovsky, Snovsky, Srebnyansky and Talalaevsky districts of the Chernigov region;

  • – the city of Volodymyr-Volynsky, as well as the Volodymyr-Volynsky, Gorokhovsky, Kivertsevsky, Lyubashevsky, Manevichsky, Lutsky, Tereisky and Shatsky districts of the Volyn region;

  • – the towns of the Beregovo and Khust, Beregovskiy, Velykobereznyanskiy, Volovetskiy, Irshavskiy, Perechenskiy, Rakhovskiy, Svalyavskiy and Khustskiy districts of the Transcarpathian region;

  • – the cities of Borislav, Morshin and Stryi, Brodovsky, Busky, Drohobychsky, Zhidachevsky, Zolochevsky, Kamenka-Bugsky, Mostysky, Radekhovsky, Samborsky, Skolevsky, Sokalsky, Stryisky and Yavorovsky of the Lviv region;

  • – the cities of the Lebedin and Romny, Belopolsky, Krolevetsky, Nedrygailovsky and Sumy districts of the Sumy region;

  • – the cities of the Kupyansk and Chuguev, Balakleisky, Barvenkovsky, Bogodukhovsky, Dergachevsky, Zmievsky, Zolochevsky, Kolomaksky, Krasnokutsky and Shevchenkovsky districts of the Kharkov region.

In the yellow zone, it is not allowed to visit social assistance establishments where older people are, except those that provide crisis intervention services.

It is observed that these epidemic levels are established for 14 days.

Recall that Ukraine has a new anti-record of deaths from coronavirus. The total number of infected in Ukraine since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 128,228 and the number of deaths has reached 2,710.
