Today, May 15, in Venice there was an explosion at a chemical plant. Authorities urge citizens to stay home by closing windows and doors.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Corriere Della Sera.

A chemical plant producing paints, solvents and bleaches reportedly exploded on the mainland, in the Porto Marghera area. As a result, a thick column of black smoke rose into the sky, which was visible from every corner of the city. Ambulances and a fire service arrived on the scene, managing to put out the main fire at approximately one in the afternoon.
