The second round of the mayoral elections took place in Dnipro. He was joined by current mayor Boris Filatov and local politician and businessman Zagid Krasnov.
The Sotsis company has published the results of the exit poll following the closure of sites in the Dnieper.
Filatov received 78.75% and Krasnov, 18%. In this way, the current mayor remains for a second term.
Remember that in the first round, Boris Filatov received 41.6% of the votes, Zagid Krasnov – 13.15%.
Boris Filatov began his political career in the team of Igor Kolomoisky, who in 2014 headed the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. Later, the relationship between them soured.
Zagid Krasnov has changed several parties in recent years (“Gromada” by Pavel Lazarenko, “Our Ukraine”, “Strong Ukraine” by Sergei Tigipko). For three months he served as secretary of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council (2015-2016). He created his own party “Public Power”, now – a deputy of the town hall from her.
