The National Bank established the exchange rates for 12/09/2019.

At the official rates of the National Bank, the hryvnia rose against the dollar and the euro. At the same time, the dollar is strengthening its positions in the interbank market.

On Wednesday, December 9, the National Bank of Ukraine strengthened the hryvnia by 15 kopecks against the dollar and immediately by 20 kopecks against the euro. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Tuesday, December 8.

The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:

– 100 US dollars – 2808.28 hryvnia (-0.1566 UAH).

– 100 euros – 3405.46 hryvnia (-0.2040 UAH).

In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar for sale exchange rate increased by 13 kopecks to 28.16 hryvnias per dollar, the exchange rate for purchase to 28.14 hryvnias per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale decreased by 4 kopecks to 34.13 hryvnia per euro.

Let us remember that the National Bank did not come out with interventions for almost a month. The regulator explained this by the fact that in November the foreign exchange market was balanced.

At the same time, in November, for the first time since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians bought more coins than they sold.
