NBU established official exchange rates for Wednesday

In the interbank market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale fell by 7 kopecks to 28.35 hryvnias per dollar, the exchange rate for purchase fell by 8 kopecks, to 28.33 hryvnias per dollar.

The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday October 7 strengthened the hryvnia by almost 4 kopecks against the dollar, but fell by 8 kopecks against the euro. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Tuesday, October 6.

Therefore, the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia fell for the first time since the beginning of October.

The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:

– 100 US dollars – 2,836.39 hryvnia (-0.0370 UAH)

– 100 euros – 3348.22 hryvnia (+0.0785 UAH).

In the interbank foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale fell by 7 kopecks to 28.35 hryvnias per dollar, the exchange rate for the purchase fell by 8 kopecks, to 28.33 hryvnias per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale fell 9 kopecks to 33.40 hryvnia per euro.

As a reminder, on October 6, the National Bank lowered the official hryvnia exchange rate by more than 6 kopecks, to 28.40 UAH / USD. Then the dollar rate rose to a high in more than two years.

It was previously reported that last week the NBU reduced the sale of foreign exchange in the interbank market by more than three times, to $ 51.1 million. At the same time, in September the balance of the National Bank’s interventions was negative and amounted to $ 200 million.
