On the interbank market, the hryvnia strengthened against major trading currencies
NBU has lowered the official hryvnia rate despite its strengthening in the interbank currency market.
On Thursday, October 1, the National Bank weakened the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the European currency to 33.1643 UAH / euro compared to 33.1309 UAH / euro the previous day. This is indicated in the NBU message.
The NBU has reduced the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar to 28.3105 UAH / USD. compared to UAH 28.2989 / USD the day before.
In the interbank market during the trading session on Wednesday, September 30, the dollar prices in the purchase decreased from UAH 28.31. up to 28.28 UAH, on sale – from 28,335 UAH to 27.30 UAH.
Quotations in euros fell on purchase from UAH 33.2217 to UAH 33.0762, on offer – from UAH 33.2482 to UAH 33.0968.
The prices of the Russian ruble increased from 0.3565 UAH to 0.3635 UAH on the buy and from 0.3570 UAH to 0.3639 UAH on the sell.
As previously reported, the National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday, September 30, left the hryvnia exchange rate almost unchanged against the dollar and weakened against the euro by 9 kopecks.
