The National Bank established official exchange rates for Wednesday
In the interbank market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale fell by 3 kopecks – to 28.22 hryvnia per dollar, the exchange rate for purchase fell by 4 kopecks – 28.19 hryvnia per dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine, on Wednesday, September 23, reduced the exchange rate of the hryvnia by less than 1 kopeck against the dollar and strengthened it by more than 8 kopecks against the euro. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Tuesday, September 22.
Therefore, the official rate of the dollar rose to its highest level since the beginning of 2020. Above the rate was the last time on January 13, 2019: 28.2701 hryvnia per dollar.
The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:
– 100 US dollars – 2820.59 hryvnia (+0.0037 UAH)
– 100 euros – 3311.51 hryvnia (-0.0845 UAH).
On the interbank foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale fell by 3 kopecks – to 28.22 hryvnia per dollar, the exchange rate for the purchase fell by 4 kopecks – 28.19 hryvnia to the dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale was reduced by 10 kopecks to 33.09 hryvnia per euro.
As a reminder, on September 22, the National Bank weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate by more than 3 kopecks, to 28.20 hryvnia to the dollar.
It was also reported that, according to the forecast of Alpari analysts, the dollar is expected to rise against the hryvnia over the next week. According to the forecast, the dollar will exceed the level of 28.50 hryvnia.
