Exchange rates on October 27: the euro becomes cheaper, the dollar becomes more expensive

NBU set the hryvnia exchange rate for October 27, 2020

According to the official exchange rates of the National Bank, the dollar has grown for the second consecutive banking day, while the euro has depreciated slightly. The same trend is observed in the interbank market.

On Tuesday, October 27, the National Bank of Ukraine reduced the hryvnia exchange rate by more than 4 kopecks against the dollar and strengthened it by 5 kopecks against the euro. This is evidenced by the data on the NBU website on Monday, October 26.

The National Bank has established the official exchange rates at the following level:

– 100 US dollars – 2833.52 hryvnia (+0.0441 UAH)

– 100 euros – 3349.08 hryvnia (-0.0582 UAH).

In the interbank foreign exchange market, the exchange rate of the dollar for sale increased by 3 kopecks to 28.35 hryvnias per dollar, the exchange rate for purchase to 28.34 hryvnias per dollar. The exchange rate of the euro for sale was reduced by 3 kopecks to 33.49 hryvnia per euro.

The expert announced the forecast of the dollar rate in Ukraine.

Earlier, the NBU called out the consequences of the pandemic in their area. Ukrainian banks are reported to have proven capable of coping with modern capital challenges.
