A few days before this match, an outbreak of coronavirus among players and coaches was recorded at the Dnipro-1 sports complex. As expected, from the first minutes the local team went ahead with great force. But for some time they could not bring the matter to a dangerous situation at the gates of Dnipro. In addition, the guests fired the first shot on goal. In the 15th minute, Dmitry Korkishko did it, but the ball flew over the gate. And in a minute Alexander Nazarenko could open an account. He made his way down the right wing and, approaching the goalkeeper, hit hard. Nikola Vasil stopped until the last moment and saved the ball for a corner.
And only in the middle of the middle, “Zarya” managed to carry out several dangerous attacks, which were twice entrusted to Egor Nazarina to complete. First, Bogdan Sarnavskiy played well, and then, after the second goal by the Lugansk midfielder, the ball flew over the gate. However, almost immediately after the break, Zorya was still able to take the lead and a free kick led to a goal. In the 52nd minute, Vladlen Yurchenko made an overhead pass to Dmitry Ivanisenya, who threw the ball with his head directly under the blow to Artem Gromov. At point-blank range, the local striker did not miss.
Then again the game continued without scoring, until the 70th minute, when Maksim Lunev marked the ball with a pass from Vladislav Kabaev. But the latter was offside and the goal was disallowed. Three minutes later, Artem Gromov fired slightly off target from inside the penalty area. However, in the 75th minute, he did everything masterfully. He brought the ball close to the opponents’ penalty area, outsmarting Vladimir Adamyuk and kicking Bohdan Sarnavskiy’s goal from twelve meters with his left foot. Thus, Gromov made a “double” in this match and the second this season.
Zorya didn’t stop there, and in the 84th minute, following a Vladlen Yurchenko corner kick, the guest defenders missed Dmitry Ivanisenei and hit his head accurately. The ball, however, hit Oleksandr Svatok’s head, changed direction slightly and flew over the Dnipro-1 goalkeeper.
And in the last minute of regulation time in the second half, Dnipro managed to recover a goal. It was Alexander Nazarenko who ran one-on-one with the home team goalkeeper and shot exactly below Nikolay Vasil. By the way, the guests could have scored again after a corner kick, but after Alexander Svatka hit his head, the ball flew over the crossbar.
