Draw for the 4th qualifying round European League It will take place on September 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the House of European Football in Nyon. 42 teams will compete for places in the group round (16 on the champions route and 26 on the main route), divided into 21 pairs.
For the convenience of the clubs and television, the Q4 draw takes place before the Q3 matches are played. Therefore, in the Q4 draw, the teams will not participate, as usual, but rather the pairs of teams gathered by will from the previous Q3 draw.
Sport.ua will conduct an online text broadcast of the draw.
In the draw for the fourth round of the Europa League qualification, Ukraine will host Kolos from Kovalevka and Desna from Chernigov. Of course, they will first have to pass through Croatian Rijeka and German Wolfsburg, respectively, and also on the road. And only then did I study the last opponent on the way to the group round. But it is extremely interesting to know in advance your entire qualifying path.
Before the draw, the team pairs are divided equally into seeded and non-seeded teams according to the club ranking. UEFA will form draw groups to avoid matches between teams without approved stadiums. The representatives of a national association will divorce in different pairs.
Bowls for seeded and non-seeded couples will be prepared for the draw. A ball will be removed from each container, placed in an empty container in the middle, and mixed. Teams whose balls will be drawn first from the center bowl will play at home.
This season, all the pairs in the 3rd and 4th qualifying rounds of the UEL play in a single match format with no spectators. The Q3 matches will take place on September 24 and the Q4 matches on September 31. Extra time and the 11-meter series will be played if necessary. Winners of Q4 will advance to the Europa League group round.
