EU coronavirus vaccination will start on December 27

The member states of the European Union will begin mass vaccination of the population against COVID-19 on December 27. The Pfizer and BioNTech vaccines will vaccinate EU residents.

“On December 27, 28 and 29 vaccinations will begin across the EU. Let us protect our citizens together,” he wrote.

We will recall, on the eve of the European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas promising that the permit to sell COVID-19 vaccines will be issued two days after approval.

Further, The European Medicines Agency will meet on December 21 to consider approval of the company’s COVID vaccine BioNTech and Pfizer. If the vaccine is not approved on Monday, the regulator will meet again in a week.

We add that the previous Ursula von der Leyen proposed to the countries of the European Union to start vaccination against the coronavirus on the same day.

It was previously reported that Ukraine could start vaccination against COVID-19 in February next year.
