The head of the presidency, Andriy Yermak, held a meeting with representatives of the microenterprise to create a coordinating council designed to develop legislative changes for a comprehensive solution to the problems of private entrepreneurs. This was reported by the OP’s press service on Friday, December 18.
Ermak pointed out that small entrepreneurs provide about 48% of jobs in Ukraine, so every effort should be made to create comfortable conditions for them.
The Coordinating Council must become a discussion platform for the development of solutions that can be implemented through the relevant bills and regulations.
At the same time, Yermak said that private entrepreneurs do not always have enough information about what is happening and about the decisions that the government and parliament make. Therefore, one of the tasks of the coordinating council called for the delivery of information and clarification of all the procedures.
In particular, the government has already implemented a series of measures designed to help small and micro-enterprises to go through the quarantine in early 2021. The most vulnerable category of entrepreneurs – taxpayers of the first group of the simplified tax system – are exempt from the tax. unique and unique social contribution for six months. Financial support is also provided to those who are forced to close or shorten their working hours, partially canceled and postponed the payment of tax arrears, during the quarantine period, employers are exempted from paying the rent of state property or municipal, and continues a large-scale program of cheap loans.
