The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, denied the rumors of secret agreements between Ukraine and Russia on Donbass.
He said it on the air of Savik Shuster’s Freedom of Speech program on the Ukraine channel.
Savik Shuster asked about 12-13 clauses of a secret agreement with Russia, which Yermak allegedly promised to abide by, as Yermak’s former predecessor Andrei Bogdan said in an interview with Dmitry Gordon.
“This is from the sphere of conspiracy theories. And conspiracy theories always give such ideas about some secret agreements. I can tell you with full responsibility that there are no secret agreements with the Russian Federation and they cannot be in essence.” Yermak said.
We will recall, the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Bogdan said that foreign diplomats and special services believe that there is a secret agreement on joint concessions between Ukraine and Russia.
As reported “Strana”, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Reznikov said that after the end of the war in Donbass, the region will not be reintegrated. He specified that this would take at least 25 years.
Furthermore, “Strana” wrote that at the Trilateral Contact Group meeting on September 16, the parties took a big step back from the formal truce, which has been going on in Donbass for a month and a half.
Protocol No. 13 of the TCG establishes that Ukraine withdrew from the ceasefire measures that determined the armistice mechanism. However, after Kiev’s refusal to carry out an inspection at Shumy (such option was included in “Measures”), the “LPNR” and the Russian Federation said that Ukraine had rejected the agreements. And now they need to reconnect.
