The consultations of the leaders of the states – participants of the Normandy format will take place in the capital of Germany.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, arrived in Berlin for a meeting in Normandy format. The talks will be held at the level of political advisers to the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France. This was announced on Tuesday, January 12, by the press service of the Presidency.

“The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, arrived in Berlin for the consultations of the advisers of the leaders of the states, participants of the Normandy format. The consultations have not yet started. The Office of the President of Ukraine will report on the results of the meeting after its completion, “the statement said.

The press service also recalled that the meeting was supposed to take place in December, but was postponed to January.

Earlier, Russian media reported that the deputy head of Russia’s presidential administration, Dmitry Kozak, came to the talks of Normandy Four’s advisers.

Earlier, the OP announced that they expect a meeting of the Normandy Four advisers in January.

Before that, TCG head of Ukrainian delegation Leonid Kravchuk said he saw no prerequisites for holding a meeting of the Normandy format leaders even in 2021. They also see no point in meeting in Russia.
