Among other things, the Cabinet will help organize the necessary number of flights.

The government will help Ukrainian workers leave for Finland. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the Cabinet press service.

According to Finnish Ambassador Päivi Laine, there is a severe shortage of labor in the country for seasonal work. He added that Finnish farmers are ready to employ 15,000 Ukrainians.

“Ukrainian workers have proven to be very good. They are responsible, decent, hardworking and we will be glad to have the opportunity to re-involve them in agriculture, forestry and other fields,” said Laine.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister Vadim Priestayko said that Ukraine will help Ukrainian workers leave for Finland, in particular, will help organize the necessary number of flights.

“Of course, safety is the top priority. Therefore, the condition for employers to legally employ Ukrainian workers, to guarantee high-quality health insurance, to conduct an observation has not changed,” Pristayko said.

The Cabinet of Ministers has already received relevant applications for the employment of Ukrainians abroad from Austria, Finland, Denmark and Norway. In addition, a large-scale shipment of Ukrainian workers to Israel is planned, where more than 40 employers are waiting for them.

Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that one of the main conditions for the employment of Ukrainians abroad in a pandemic is the provision of high-quality health insurance. The government also said they would allow the transportation of Ukrainians on charter flights.
