“Ukrzaliznytsya” is a public limited company, whose 100% of the shares are owned by the State. The Ukrainian railways provide 82% of the freight transport and about 50% of the passenger traffic carried out by all types of transport; in terms of freight traffic, it ranks fourth on the Eurasian continent, only surpassed by the railways of China, Russia and India, saying on the company’s website.
