The murder of the teacher took place in the suburbs of Paris on October 16. Abdulakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old from Moscow, Chechen, ambushed a man at Conflans-Saint-Honorine College, attacked him and beheaded him.

The motive for the murder was the fact that the deceased during one of the classes showed the students caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. After that, threats began to arrive at the teacher and the school.

After the murder, the attacker tried to reach the neighboring commune of Eragny, but the police noticed. During the arrest, law enforcement officers shot him dead.

According to the television channel, nine people were arrested in the murder case, including the relatives of the offender. French President Emmanuel Macron called the incident a terrorist attack.
