In Philadelphia, the counting stopped for an hour after the election. There the Republicans sought through the courts a closer access to the tables where the votes were counted.

Reported by NBC Philadelphia.

The vote count was suspended around 11:00 local time. The Republican Party has demanded that the Pennsylvania court allow its observers to have more access to the counting process. The court granted the party’s request and the count continued at around 12:15 pm at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

At the same time, the Philadelphia city authorities have already appealed the court decision to the State Supreme Court.

In Pennsylvania, President Donald Trump leads the elections. After processing 88% of the data, Trump is ahead of Joe Biden by 112 thousand votes. There are 20 electoral votes at stake in Pennsylvania.

Recall that Biden now has 264 electoral votes. A victory in Nevada will earn you six more votes and an overall victory in the presidential election. This requires 270 electoral votes. Trump has 214 so far and has a chance of winning in four states; Besides Pennsylvania, these are Alaska, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Today, Donald Trump has already called for an end to the vote count, and also announced the filing of lawsuits in all states where Biden is considered the winner.

Additionally, Trump’s headquarters will require a vote recount in Nevada. According to them, 10,000 people who no longer live in the state voted there.
