The Territorial Elections Commission has registered four more candidates for the post of mayor of Kiev. Thus, as of September 28, 17 candidates are already running for mayor.
The corresponding decisions were promulgated by the Election Commission of the city of Kiev.
So, as the candidates were registered:
- Viktor Petruk (on behalf of the Khvilya Civil Movement party);
- Igor Smeshko (“Strength and honor”);
- Maxim Goldarba (self-proclaimed candidate);
- Sergey Shakhov (“Our land”).
Previously, candidates were registered:
- Nikolay Tomenko (“Homeland”);
- Sergei Gusovsky (“For the future”);
- Yuri Levchenko (“People’s Power”);
- Alexander Omelchenko (“Unit”);
- Alexander Popov (“Opposition Platform – For Life”);
- Diana Grantseva (self-proclaimed);
- Sergey Pritula (“Voice”);
- Egor Firsov (“Environmental Alternative”);
- Alexey Kucherenko (“Batkivshchyna”);
- Andrey Palchevsky (“Palchevsky’s Victory”);
- Mikhail Pozhivanov (The Radical Party);
- Irina Vereshchuk (“Servant of the people”);
- Vitali Klitschko (“IMPACT”).
As a reminder, the deadline for submitting documents for registration as candidates for local elections ended on September 24.
RBC-Ukraine also wrote that the Kharkov Territorial Elections Commission registered Gennady Kernes and 14 other candidates for mayor of Kharkov.
