Protesters gather under the Georgian parliament building, while the opposition behaves peacefully, there have been no clashes with the security forces.
Opposition supporters who do not agree with the results of the parliamentary elections began to gather in the center of the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, representatives of the opposition parties also attended the protest rally, RIA Novosti reported.
Protesters are gathering under the Georgia Parliament building, now they have blocked traffic along Rustaveli Avenue. Although the opposition behaves peacefully, there have been no clashes with the security forces.
Recall that on Saturday, October 31, parliamentary elections were held in Georgia. According to the preliminary results of the vote, the ruling Georgian Dream party wins and the opposition force United National Movement is in second place. The opposition has already announced its intention not to recognize the election results and called on its supporters to come out to protest.
