Former people’s deputy Mikhail Dobkin announced the withdrawal of his candidacy from the Kharkov mayor election. Dobkin decided to withdraw from the election in favor of current Mayor Gennady Kernes.
He announced it on his Telegram channel.
Dobkin withdrew his candidacy from today’s election.
“Today he withdrew his candidacy from the elections in favor of Gennady Kernes. He is on the mend and is participating in the mayoral elections. This is my mission accomplished,” he wrote.
We will recall, Kernes was nominated for mayor, even though he is now being treated for COVID-19 at a German clinic. Surrounded by the mayor of Kharkiv, they say Kernes’s condition has improved and he is on the mend.
Yesterday, the businessman and friend of the mayor of Kharkiv Pavel Fuks said that Kernes passed a negative test for the coronavirus.
