Late at night, Dynamo defeated Ferencvaros 1: 0, secured third place in the UEFA Champions League Group G standings and guaranteed participation in the 1/16 Europa League final.
In this tournament round draw, Dynamo will not be seeded. Sixteen teams will qualify: twelve from the UEFA Europa League group winners and the top four from the eight runners-up from the Champions League groups.
So “Dynamo” is among the four worst third-place owners in the Champions League. More points than those of Kiev were scored by representatives of groups B (Real / Shakhtar / Inter), D (Atalanta / Ajax), E (Krasnodar), F (Bruges), N (MJ).
This means that Dynamo will play the 1/16 final of the Europa League with one of the winners of the Europa League groups or with one of the best third places in the Champions League.
A full list of potential rivals for Dynamo will be formed later. The draw for the 16th Europa League final will take place on December 14.
