After a brilliant victory over AZ Alkmaar (2: 0), which gave Dynamo Kiev a ticket to the playoff round of the Champions League, the team has no time to celebrate or relax.
The White-Blues have already entered a tight match schedule, having played in September with Desna and AZ, and until the next window for the national team matches, in early October, the team will play two matches a week, with Kyiván before the most important games against the Belgian. “Genta”, the team has very little time to prepare and study.
The day after the match with AZ at the Olimpiyskiy, work at the club’s base in Koncha-Zaspa continued: one group of players trained and the other had to undergo recovery procedures.
On Thursday, the team met in the afternoon, and in the evening held a full two-hour session, attended by all the players training in the general group.
The heavy rain that took place in Kiev did not spoil the team’s plans and schedule, however it was short-lived. Before the start of the lesson, Mircea Lucescu gathered a team in the field and outlined a plan for the evening. The team also congratulated two first-team managers, who have worked for the Dynamo for a long time and are celebrating their birthdays today: Philippe Repetil and Alexander Lemishko.
The entire training session was playful, the “blue and white” under the clear guidance of Mircea Lucescu practiced the interactions of the game and the tactical aspects.
Dynamo will play the next game at the Olimpiyskiy next Saturday, when they host FC Lviv. And on Wednesday the ‘Blue and White’ will play the first match of the Champions League tie in Ghent.
