“All the blocks of the thermal power plant suddenly dropped to zero. After half an hour, the electricity supply in the city began to partially resume. The medical and health unit is functioning normally, patients have everything they need,” wrote the mayor. .
At the same time, the local newspaper “ROST” writes that there was an emergency shutdown in the power unit No. 1 of the TPP Zaporozhskaya and No. 9 of the TPP Kurakhovskaya, and the power engineers quickly began repairs.
Today there was an emergency shutdown of power unit No. 1 of TPP Zaporizhzhya and No. 9 of TPP Kurakhovskaya due to damage to the heating surface of the boiler unit. “The whole city is without electricity … By all indications, there is a serious accident in the ZHPP itself. Perhaps even with a block shutdown. Mobile communications are overloaded, there is no water, the pumps have stopped,” he wrote deputy. .
In social networks they wrote about the explosion and fire at the thermal power plant. Anokhin noted that the hum everyone heard was an emergency steam blast at the station.
Furthermore, local residents note that apart from Energodar, there is no electricity supply in Dneprorudny. According to Orlov, there is no power in several settlements.
