The drunk driver of a VAZ car, who caused an accident on the Paton bridge in Kiev on Saturday night, February 6, tried to escape the scene.
This is stated in the message of the press service of the Kiev Patrol Police on the department’s Telegram channel. They clarified that the patrolmen who came to the call found a stop and damaged cars Skoda, Subaru and VAZ.
“At the scene were two drivers and the victim, a passenger of a VAZ car. The driver of the VAZ was not there,” police said.
Then, with the help of closed-circuit television cameras, law enforcement officers received a photo of the offender. They plotted their route to Rusanovsky Boulevard and in less than ten minutes they returned the drunk driver to the scene of the accident.
The man was examined in a specialized institution: according to the conclusion of the doctor, he was in a state alcohol intoxication.
In turn, the passenger of the VAZ car needed the help of doctors – the man was hospitalized, the patrol police said.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, as a result of the accident at the Paton Bridge, parts of the cars scattered in different directions. The drunk driver of the “VAZ” lost control and flew to the top.
