In the city of Murino, Leningrad region of Russia, the police found the body of a former combatant of the terrorist group “DPR” with signs of violent death.
This was reported by RBC with reference to the Regional Investigation Committee.
According to RosSMI, the dead man was the Russian mercenary Andrey Chekin, 37, who, as part of the “first intelligence company” of the terrorist organization “DPR”, fought against the Ukrainian army in 2014-2015.

The profile of the Russian militant on the Peacemaker website indicates that Chekin was born in the city of Biysk in the Altai Territory on May 12, 1983.
On his social media pages, he boasted of photos from the Donetsk region, in which he posed with weapons and other mercenaries.
