Alexander Lukashenko accused Ukraine of allegedly wanting to “strangle Belarus faster”. The self-proclaimed president said he had received excerpts from his special services describing the attitude of Western politicians to the events in Belarus after the start of the mass protests.
The response from the Ukrainian side was not late. The chancellor denied Lukashenka’s scandalous statement. About that Dmitry Kuleba posted on Twitter.
On the issue Belarus needs to be strangled, – Lukashenko spoke about the “headquarters of the impact of information” near Kiev
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister said there were no words on the need to “strangle” Belarus in his talks with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
There were no such words in our conversations with Heiko Maas. I am fundamentally opposed to “strangling” Belarus, its business and its production. On the contrary, I am in favor of Belarus breathing freely,
– Kuleba wrote.
Lukashenka’s new statement
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that he had received reports from the KGB, which contained information about the conversation between the Ukrainian Foreign Minister and his German counterpart.
We lose our opportunities by not taking decisive action. The European Union should impose severe sanctions against Belarus in order to paralyze the activities of the state, companies and industries.
– says the message.
Lukashenko pointed out that despite the fraternal relations between the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples, a center of information influence on Belarus has appeared near Kiev.
Interestingly, Lukashenko first appeared in public in a respirator and joked about the strike: photo and video
Note that the previously self-proclaimed president accused Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania of protests in Belarus. He believes that it was from the territory of Ukraine that several anarchists crossed the border, who staged pogroms and fires. He believes that Poland and Lithuania were against the recount and were in favor of holding new elections.
