Midfielder “Metalist-1925” Dmitry Kravchenko, who on October 28 in a state of alcohol intoxication starred in a massive traffic accident in Kharkov, was punished.
According to the Telegram channel “TRUKHA Kharkiv”, the Frunzensky District Court of Kharkiv fined the 25-year-old athlete in the amount of 20 minimum tax-free income of citizens. In Ukraine it is 17 UAH.
Kravchenko was found guilty of an administrative offense under article 124 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic regulations, causing damage to vehicles, etc.).
Immediately after the accident, a video appeared on the net where a soccer player is tested for a breathalyzer. The result in the blood showed 1.85 ppm, which is nine times more than the allowed rate of 0.2 ppm.
Despite this, the court exempted Kravchenko from liability under Part 1 of article 130 (driving of vehicles or boats by people who are intoxicated by alcohol, drugs or other intoxication).
In addition, the court ordered Metalist-1925 to do educational work with his pupils.
Recall that Dmitry Kravchenko is a graduate of Poltava “Vorskla”, for which he played until the end of the summer of 2020. At the beginning of September he moved to Metalist-1925
In his career as a midfielder, he has experience playing for the Ukrainian youth teams U18, 19 and 20.
