The humorous concert program “Diesel Show” first beat “Evening Kvartal” in the viewer index on New Year’s Eve.

This was reported on Facebook Dizel Show, thanking the Ukrainian viewers, who watched the ICTV channel on the night of December 31st. Representatives of “Diesel Studio” noted that they built their show solely on their humor and patriotic side of the Ukrainian stage.

“The five leaders include not only two parts of our premiere (before and after midnight), but also a nightly replay of the New Year’s edition from years past. Millions of people watched the Diesel Show from 8pm to 8pm! morning! Great respect for them for this! We will continue to please them! in the year 21! “- it was said in the message.

It also stands out that the ICTV channel has accumulated a record audience share in its history as of December 31 – 18.13%.

“For the first time, the president’s speech was better seen on the ICTV channel, between the two parts of the Diesel Show,” they also added in the publication.

Representatives of the studio admitted that this victory was very hard for them, but only regret that the authorities did not allow spectators to attend their concert.

“We will definitely return the audience to our concerts, without a golden eagle, without manipulation, simply because we work specifically for the people and we do not serve the authorities,” the artists promised.

We will recall, earlier, studio artist Yegor Krutogolov said that they have no competitors, as all good comedians have gotten into politics. According to him, there used to be a fierce fight for the audience. There were attempts to shut down the project, to bribe the actors, but the Diesel Show tried to constantly fight and stick together.

And in June 2020, the Diesel Show accused Quarter 95 of stealing jokes. “Kvartal” allegedly re-recorded exactly and impersonated their “Diesel” number on learning English, which they showed in 2015.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the “Diesel Show” artists were met with criticism from the public due to one of their scenes about the poetic battle between Alexander Pushkin and Taras Shevchenko. The actors demonstrated the difference in mentality between Ukrainians and Russians. After that, many accused the performers of the show of Russophobia.
