As reported by ZN.UA, sanctions were imposed against Marchenko and Lavrenyuk due to the fact that they are the owners of the Novoshakhtinsky refinery in the Rostov region. According to media reports, Marchenko owns 75% of the plant and Lavrenyuk 25%. The company supplies petroleum products to the territories of the Russian-occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Sanctions have also been imposed against this company.
In addition, the National Security Council ordered the return of the Samara – Western Direction pipeline to state property. The pipeline is operated by the Prykarpatzakhidtrans company.
