Commissioner for the protection of the state language Taras kremin stated that the Ukrainian knowledge test will affect, firstly, those who apply for government service.
Among them are ministers, officials, regional heads of state, district administrations, state companies and prosecutors. Kremin announced this on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.
According to him, those foreignwho are about to obtain Ukrainian citizenship.
In addition, the official pointed out that there are those categories that will not be presented to the exam in 2021. The list includes deputies and law enforcement officers.
Kremin believes that every official should not be afraid of his knowledge, and whether or not he passes the exam, I have to say it.
“It will be perceived much better than before, when I ‘passed’ the exam, and I cannot connect two words,” added the deputy.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Kremin asked the Constitutional Court to show a state position when considering the constitutionality of the Law “On the guarantee of the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state language.
