On Saturday 12 September, the leader of the regional organization VO “Svoboda” Demid Gubsky, who was found at his home with a gunshot wound to the head, died in the Nikolaev hospital.
According to his brother Vladimir Gubsky on Facebook, Demid’s body could not withstand the long struggle.
“Thanks to everyone who helped all this time, prayed, believed. I will tell you the time and place of the farewell when it will be known, ”he wrote.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, on July 11, Demid Gubsky was hospitalized in Nikolaev with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to the investigation, at night the man, along with his common-law wife and friends, rested in an entertainment center, after which they returned home. At home, the victim decided to disassemble the gun.
“As the woman says, she heard a shot and saw that her husband fell. She then called the victim’s brother and together they went to the doctors for help,” police said in a statement.
On the fact of the incident, the law enforcement officers opened a case under article 128 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (serious or moderate bodily injury due to carelessness).
