A woman in Rivna who died after giving birth at home with the participation of a “spiritual midwife” was hospitalized in a state of agony.
Svetlana Muravskaya, chief physician at Rivne maternity hospital, told Suspilny about this, referring to the words of the deceased’s relatives. He clarified that the girl was born at 15:15, and the ambulance brought her only at 18:20.
“According to relatives, the woman gave birth at 3:15 p.m. during a home delivery. An ambulance took her to the hospital at 6:20 p.m. in a state of agony, that is, almost dead. It was not possible to save her,” he added. . Muravskaya said.
The chief physician added that the Rivne resident had anemia and was a vegetarian.
At the same time, the police opened a second criminal investigation into the death of a 34-year-old woman. Now the investigation is ongoing under the article on failure to assist a person in a life-threatening condition, writes TSN.
