In Portugal, 41-year-old nurse Sonia Acevedo passed away on New Year’s Eve, two days after being vaccinated against the coronavirus with the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine.

Sonya has two children left. He worked in the pediatric department of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology in Porto. An autopsy will be carried out in the next few days, which should clarify the sudden death of the woman.

The nurse’s employers have confirmed that she was vaccinated against the coronavirus on December 30. However, they were not informed about the side effects.

Sonia Acevedo’s daughter said that her mother only complained of “normal” discomfort in the area of ​​the body where she was vaccinated, but in general everything was fine.
