After a landslide on December 30 in the Norwegian municipality of Gjerdram, eight people are still considered missing.
The bodies of two people were found at the site of a large-scale landslide that occurred on December 30 in the municipality of Gjerdram, 20 kilometers from the Norwegian capital, Oslo. This was announced on January 2 by TV2.
Rescuers found the first victim on January 1 and the second on January 2.
Police said they have not yet been able to identify the bodies. Nor was the gender of the victims mentioned.
Today eight people are considered missing.
The authorities do not rule out that there may be survivors of the landslide. They explain that there must be three factors for this: air, temperature, and water.
Rescuers have not yet explored the entire area of the landslide, work continues.
The landslide that occurred in Gjerdram affected more than 10 residential addresses. More than 1000 people were evacuated. There are children among the missing. People are also searching with the help of thermal imaging cameras.
