According to NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov, Russia has chosen for itself the path of “protection” not of Russians, but of Russian-speaking citizens. Therefore, if Ukraine starts speaking Russian, it could be potentially dangerous.
Danilov said this in an interview with NV, the video was posted on YouTube.
“There is a very dangerous situation related to the language. I have already said many times that Russia has chosen such a doctrine, it already protects non-Russians, it protects Russian speakers. This is a very dangerous situation for any country. And we say that If Ukraine starts speaking Russian, let’s hope Putin “protects” those citizens, and without asking them whether they need this protection or not, “Danilov said.
According to the secretary of the NSDC, Russia’s task is inherent in the “imperial whims”.
“This is their task, this is their mission, they have invented this for themselves, they live in their own world, they invented, and they believe that there should only be one Russian“ empire ”. They have such imperial vagaries that they never stop and unfortunately they are very expensive for both Ukraine and Georgia, Moldova and all the countries surrounded by the Russian Federation, “said Danilov.
