Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine, neither confirmed nor denied that the companies that have been targeted by the NSDC sanctions today belong to businessman Pavel Fuks. The latter said it had nothing to do with them.
In a briefing on March 19, the secretary of the Defense and National Security Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, did not name the business owners of the companies that fell under the sanctions of the NSDC. The correspondent for the “GORDON” edition reports on this.
Reporters noted that the companies belong to businessman Pavel Fuks, Danilov did not deny. Media representatives clarified what the authorities have against Fuchs.
“The claims are not our organization, nor our parish. We make the appropriate decision. We make decisions that are established either by presidential decree, or we give protocol instructions, for which the members of the Security and National Defense Council vote,” he replied. .
The NSDC decided today to apply the maximum possible restrictions against 19 companies that use the Ukrainian subsoil. The media, as well as former people’s deputy Sergei Leshchenko, wrote that they belong to Fuchs. Fuchs himself called this information false.
“I have nothing to do with the companies against which the NSDC has imposed sanctions today,” he wrote on Telegram.
Fuchs was born in Kharkov, lived for a long time in Russia, where he earned his capital. In 2017, he told reporters that he no longer has assets in the Russian Federation and renounced Russian citizenship as received a new Ukrainian passport in 2015.
