We are talking about cars that were imported by individuals to the customs territory of Ukraine until December 31, 2020 and are in the customs regimes of import or temporary transit. Thus, it covers all imported Euro plates until early 2021.
At the same time, customs clearance is only possible for a car of one category per person (a passenger car, a truck, a trailer). The car must meet environmental standards at least “Euro2”.
The document proposes, within a period of 180 days from the date of its entry into force, to authorize the automobiles according to the following formula:
Rate = Basic Rate + Ve + Fe
In this formula, the base rate is the tax rate in euros per 1 piece of vehicle, which is determined based on the number of years that have passed from the year the car was manufactured to the year in which the tax rate was determined.
See – the tax rate in euros for 1 piece of vehicle. It is determined by multiplying the volume of the internal combustion engine cylinder in cubic meters. centimeters by a factor that is:
- € 0.25 per 1 cubic meter cm of engine cylinder volume: for cars with an internal combustion engine capacity of up to 2000 cubic meters. centimeters (inclusive);
- 0.2 euros per 1 cubic meter cm of engine cylinder volume – with a displacement of 2001 cc. centimeters up to 3000 cubic meters. centimeters (inclusive);
- 0.25 euros per 1 cubic meter cm of engine cylinder volume – with a displacement of 3001 cc. centimeters up to 4000 cubic meters. centimeters (inclusive);
- € 0.35 per 1 cubic meter cm of engine cylinder volume – with a displacement of 4001 cc. centimeters up to 5000 cubic meters. centimeters (inclusive);
- EUR 0.5 per 1 cubic meter cm of engine cylinder volume – with a displacement of more than 5000 cc. centimeters.
Also, in this formula, Fe is the tax rate in euros per vehicle unit.
