The situation in Belarus is developing in a negative direction. Alexander Lukashenko strengthens his position, confident in the possibility of a Russian intervention.

This was announced on the air of “Polish Radio” by the head of the Office of the President of Poland, Krzysztof Szczerski.

He described as “unacceptable” the words of Lukashenka and his entourage that in Poland there are statements about the annexation of the Grodno region in the event of the collapse of Belarus. He stressed that the Warsaw official denied such statements, calling them propaganda and lies that should not happen.

Shchersky stressed that the Belarusian ambassador to Poland was summoned to the Polish Foreign Ministry on Thursday to protest in this case.

The head of the Office of the President of Poland has now called the protection of the Polish national minority in Belarus a priority task for Warsaw, so that it does not become a victim of an internal political conflict in this country.

He also asked Polish politicians, publicists and experts to weigh his words, as every misspeak can be used against Poland.

Let us remind you that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he had prepared special detachments of security officials that could be dispatched to Belarus to help resolve the political crisis.

Furthermore, Lukashenko agreed with Putin on the use of a joint group of forces in the event of a military threat from the West.
