The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is preparing an international platform for the evacuation of Crimea. It involves holding annual summits and contacts at various levels.
Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister, Emine Dzhaparova, recounted this in an interview with lb.ua.
According to her, the strategy for the unemployment of Crimea refers to the creation of a platform. This, in turn, will establish a multi-tiered framework that will support the Crimean issue at different levels.
“The highest political level will be assumed by the summit, the organization of which will be initiated by Ukraine. It will be held annually, we propose to hold it on a symbolic day for Ukraine, February 26, the day of the resistance of Crimea to the Russian occupation. “said Dzhaparova.
At the second level, contacts between foreign ministers and defense ministers are foreseen, since it is necessary to raise the issue of the militarization of Crimea by Russia.
“The next level is inter-parliamentary relations, working with the presidents of the parliamentary assemblies of the Council of Europe, OSCE, NATO, working with deputies,” added Dzhaparova.
We will recall earlier that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called on the OSCE to pay more attention to occupied Crimea.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Reznikov said the question of an international platform for the unemployment of Crimea is ongoing.
