For more than a month, no new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the city. During the last day in China, 17 infected people were identified, of which five were in Wuhan.

In Wuhan, China, five recently confirmed cases of coronavirus were detected on May 10. After a long break, local infections are recorded in the city for the second consecutive day, according to a report by the Hubei Provincial Health Committee.

It is observed that all five were initially asymptomatic carriers, but during the last day their cases were re-classified as confirmed.

Remember that after April 4, no new cases of infection were reported in Wuhan, and on April 26 the last patient with COVID-19 was discharged from the city hospital.

On Wuhan Eve, a case of coronavirus was confirmed. Therefore, the number of actively infected as of Monday morning is six people, all hospitalized.

According to the State Health Committee of the People’s Republic of China, during the last day in the country 17 new cases of coronavirus infection and 12 asymptomatic carriers were registered, there were no deaths.

Of the 17 cases, seven are imported, the remaining ten are local.

A total of 1,690 imported cases of coronavirus infection were detected in China, 99 people are still sick and 1,591 patients recovered. Not a single person who entered the infected country has died.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 82,918 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which 78,144 people have recovered, 4,633 have died, and 141 are currently ill.
