The United States of America will help Ukraine to accelerate the signing of contracts with companies that develop vaccines for COVID-19. These agreements were reached during a telephone conversation between the heads of the Ministry of Health of the two countries.

As promised by the head of the US Ministry of Health, Alex Azar, the United States will help strengthen communication between the Ukrainian ministry and the companies Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Novavax.
“We are communicating with many of our international partners and pharmaceutical companies to ensure the rapid delivery of a safe and effective vaccine to Ukraine, because the vaccine is the only real means to counter the COVID-19 pandemic. Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers predicted the timing of the start of the supply of the coronavirus vaccine to Ukraine.
In addition, the Ministry of Health indicated the number of doses of the COVID-19 vaccine that Ukraine will receive under the COVAX mechanism.
