As of August 30, 2096 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine, their total number reached 119 074. This is evidenced by data from the NSDC coronavirus epidemic monitoring system.

As a result of the disease, 2,527 people died nationwide, of which 35, in the last day. 56,734 people have already recovered from the disease, 596 in one day.

The highest number of COVID-19 cases detected during the last day was recorded in the Kharkiv (198), Lviv (188), Odessa (173), Ivano-Frankivsk (171) and Ternopil (160) regions. Most of those who recovered are in the Kharkov region (111), the dead are in Kiev (9).

Worldwide, since the beginning of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, 25,164,217 have been infected, the number of victims of the virus has reached 846,743 and 17.5 million have been cured.

First in terms of the number of cases and deaths is the United States, where 6,139,978 cases of infection were confirmed. 186,855 people died from coronavirus-related illnesses, 3.4 million were cured.

The United States is followed by Brazil, where 3,846,965 patients were registered with 120,498 deaths and three million recovered.

In India, the number of infected has reached 3,539,712, the death toll has exceeded 63.6 thousand and 2.7 million have been cured.

The death rate from infection per million inhabitants of the planet was 108.6. In the United States 564 people died per million inhabitants, in Brazil 566, in India 46.
