During the past day, coronavirus was found in Ukraine in 12,585 people, 276 deaths were recorded, and 14,554 patients were recovered.
This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Health on Wednesday morning, December 9.
Ukraine has recorded a record number of deaths per day. The previous highest value was set on November 19, when 257 COVID-19 patients died.
In addition, for the second day in a row, the number of recoveries exceeds the number of cases.
In total, during the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 845 343 people fell ill, of which 451 118 recovered, deaths – 14 204.

- Odessa region: 54,123 cases;

There is no data for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol.
The government replaced the adaptive quarantine with a nationwide one until December 31. On weekdays, Ukraine has restrictions on the orange quarantine zone.
The government is also discussing the possibility of introducing a total blockade in the country. There is no exact date for the new restrictions.
