The chief doctor of state health, Viktor Lyashko, mentioned the reason for the increase in new cases of coronavirus in Ukraine. According to him, the increase in incidence is associated with the neglect of quarantine.
He said this on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.
“The increase in the incidence of coronavirus is an indicator that we have begun to neglect anti-epidemic norms. This cannot be done. I will say it until the situation with the increase in incidence stabilizes in our country,” said the medical director .
Lyashko added that in addition to anti-registration for the number of new cases, Ukraine is close to anti-registration of hospitalized, so the Ministry of Health begins to search for additional beds for COVID-19 patients.
“In the city of Kiev, 500 beds of academic institutions will be redesigned. Tomorrow it will be the decision of the State Commission for TEB and Emergencies. We also consider which additional hospital to open for patients in Kharkov,” he said.
Recall that in Ukraine, for the first time since the beginning of the epidemic, more than 4 thousand cases of coronavirus were registered.
At the same time, a record was set in Ukraine for the number of people recovered from COVID-19.
