In Ukraine, during the last day, 2,107 new cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed. Most of the new cases are found in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil regions, as well as in Kiev.
This is evidenced by data from the National Defense and Security Council.
The total number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic is already 135,894 people. 62,227 people were recovered, of which 578 – in the last 24 hours.
2,846 people have died from the coronavirus, including 35 yesterday.
Most of the new cases are found in the regions of Lviv (+188), Ivano-Frankivsk (+176), Ternopil (+158), as well as in Kiev (+240).
We will recall that Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that in the fall there is a risk of an influenza overlap in the COVID-19 epidemic.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the Ministry of Health previously said how many beds in Ukraine are intended for COVID-19 patients.
The Ministry of Health also spoke about a step-by-step algorithm of actions in case of suspected coronavirus.
