The incidence of the coronavirus COVID-19 in Kiev is associated with the situation throughout the country. In the near future, the incidence will only increase.

Oleg Ruban, head of the State Consumer Service in Kiev, told RBC-Ukraine about this in a comment.

According to him, the jump in incidence in Kiev was predictable.

“There will be even more. The figures depend on organizational measures. Today we should not look at the cases detected and confirmed by laboratory, but at the number of cases of moderate severity and the number of severe cases. Today these figures are high, but not as critical as could be said. ” Ruban pointed out.

Note that earlier it was learned that more than 800 new cases of COVID-19 were first identified in Kiev.

We will recall, in general, in Ukraine during the last day, 9,524 new cases were confirmed; this is another anti-registration, and since the beginning of the epidemic 420,617 Ukrainians have been infected.

Before that, Ukraine’s chief medical officer, Viktor Lyashko, said the idea of a weekend quarantine in Ukraine is still being discussed. Only grocery stores and pharmacies are expected to be able to operate on Saturdays and Sundays.
