A bill related to the implementation of quarantine measures has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, the police will be able to fine the violators of the quarantine in the place.
This was stated by the Chief Medical Officer of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, on the air of the television channel “112 Ukraine”.
“On the agenda of the next session of the Verkhovna Rada there is a bill that will allow the National Police of Ukraine to draw up a protocol and a fine immediately at the place of the offender,” Lyashko said.
In addition, he noted that wearing a mask does not harm human health.
“Recently, a study was published that showed the positive and negative aspects of wearing a mask. The fact that we say that wearing a mask can reduce the amount or concentration of oxygen in the blood, has been shown that this is not true, it is false, “he said.
Lyashko added that if the mask is of high quality, approved for production and is a proven means of personal protection, then it does not harm health, but protects.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health proposed to increase the amount of the fine from 170 to 17 thousand hryvnia.
We will recall, the chairman of the parliamentary commission on the nation’s health, Mikhail Radutsky, spoke about the intentions of the deputies to increase the size of the fine for violation of quarantine by companies to 51 thousand hryvnia.
