The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) claims that Metropolitan Onufri is feeling well and not sick with coronavirus.

This was reported on April 18 by the UOC-MP press service.

According to the UOC’s MP Information Center, Onufri will celebrate an Easter service today in a house of worship at his residence.

“This decision was made to avoid the accumulation of many believers who want to attend the Easter liturgy, which is led by the head of the UOC,” the statement read.

Regarding information on the health status of the Metropolitan, the UOC-MP reported that Onufrii was well and ill.

“At this time, Metropolitan Onuphrius is preparing for the Liturgy and the meeting of the Resurrection of Christ. Blessed is the holy and wealthy. Worshiping in one of the temples of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra,” added the press service.

Later, a photo of Onufri appeared on his Facebook page, indicating that he was preparing for Easter and feeling well.
